An art exhibition which was compiled by Enigma Art threw light on the lives of Albinos and the challenge they face.
The exhibition COLOUR.ISM which took place at the Nordic Hotel, Abuja was tagged evolved from a thirst to give voice to the dismissed, presenting a stage for dialogue. Also, by focusing its creative energy on molding a social commentary with their audience, Enigma Art also gave this exhibition the content to create an emotional and ethereal experience.
Khenye Gager, who heads organizers of the exhibition, and also a member of the Enigma Art collection told Daily Trust that the exhibition is aimed at creating awareness about people who are living with albinism and how they are being segregated from society.
She described how the project has captured all angles of what it means to be an albino, how they are being treated in society, adding that, “the albinism project is aimed at bringing them to the foreground through creativity and arts”.  
Gager also added that Enigma Art, through this exhibition is trying to speak for people who don’t have the opportunity to speak: “Through a creative platform, we are able to tackle issues which might not be spoken about in society. So we are trying to give the affected people voices,” she said.
 She also said Enigma Art Collective is a blossoming contemporary art gallery in its second year and is thrilled to present ‘COLOUR.ISM,’ a regnant Fine Art project, which explores the subject of albinism, with the guidance and support of The Albino Foundation of Nigeria.
