The human capacity to ignore the stink on one’s body and focus on someone else’s is indeed an amazing one. When the British Prime Minister was revealed as having made scathing remarks on our country regarding corruption, I wasn’t angry. Actually, I laughed. Here’s a man whose father is corrupt, too, making fun of a whole country. For a high-level politician, he should have behaved better and more maturely. We’re not saying we don’t have problems of corruption, but for him to say it in that most tactless way, is unfortunate. He totally deserves the global bashing he’s getting now, and I couldn’t be happier.
