Following the outbreak of the coronavirus, the FCT police commissioner, Bala Ciroma, has ordered the command’s medical officers to embark on enlightenment campaign at all police area commands in order to educate the officers and men of the force on precautions to take in order to contain the spread of the virus.

A statement by the command’s spokesman, DSP Anjuguri Manzah, said the call is in compliance with the social restriction order issued by the Federal Government to contain the spread of COVID 19.

He said the command was working with authorities of the FCT administration to ensure residents adhere strictly to the government‘s directive.
