That match will surely rekindle memories of the two teams’ epic clash in Ravenna in September, when the highly motivated Nigerian team fought impressively against the Brazilians, before losing 8-10 after extra time in a quarter final match.

In a chat with Feverpitch yesterday Olawale who hit two goals past South Africa in the opening match said they would be banking on home advantage to beat the four time world champions.

He said the team is highly motivated to clinch the trophy at stake as he noted that the pep talk from the president of the NFF, Alhaji Aminu Maigari has gingered them to even more commitment.

Olawale maintained that Brazil may look favoured to carry the day but the Supersand Eagles have come of age and would not bow before the Brazilians.

His words: “It is going to be a difficult match but this is an opportunity for us to take our pound of flesh from the Brazilians. Remember they stopped us from getting to the semi-finals of this year’s FIFA Beach World Cup in Italy.

“It was a ding dong affair but in the end, they ran away with victory. This time it is going to be different because we are highly motivated. We would have the fans behind us and I see victory coming our way”.
