Katsina State House of Assembly committee on Local Governments and Emirate Affairs has warned that the friction between transition committee chairmen and their councillors can dealt a serious blow to the effective running of the councils.

The committee’s chairmen, Garba Hussaini Dankanjiba, who made the observation in continuation of the committee’s familiarization tour of the 34 LGAs in the state, said there is need for harmonious working relation between them for the overall interest of governance at the grassroots.
