Chairman of the chapter, Alhaji Abdullahi Yawa, who made the call when he led executive members of the association to the headquarters of Media Trust in Abuja, expressed concern on the quality of graduates of some Muslim schools.
Alhaji Abdullahi said the association has embarked on rigorous sensitisation campaign on the importance of educating young Muslims and imparting proper Islamic morals in them, noting that it is through this that the Ummah will attain a focused generation that will excel in all human endeavours.
 “The association is worried about the type of products Muslim schools are producing in recent times. We want to change the trend so that we can produce good leaders of tomorrow. So far the association had established about 30 Muslim schools within the federal capital,” he also said.
He said that the association has opened branches in about 25 states. “This is in addition to various training organised for students across the country,” he also said, adding that their annual general meeting will be held in two weeks’ time.
