The striking lecturers of the Federal University of Technology Owerri have been sacked with immediate effect by the management of the institution.
The sacking of the lecturers followed their refusal to comply with the federal government ultimatum to go back to class.
The public relations officer of the institution, Mr.Chike Ezenwa, disclosed the managment decision to newsmen in Owerri yesterday.

He disclosed that already their positions have been advertised for interesting persons.
