Plateau State chapter of the Alumni Association of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has organised an educational summit in Jos aimed at promoting national unity.

The association would use the role of Standard Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) in promoting education and national unity.

 The chairman, Isaac Aliyu, said members have promised to donate books to the university library. He said SIWES was chosen for the summit because it was an accepted skills training programme. 

“SIWES helps in the process of empowering the educational activities. It can be the most effective way to increase the student’s knowledge,” he said.
