The management of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Gubi Campus, Bauchi State, has appealed to Governor Bala Mohammed to contribute his quota towards bridging the road infrastructural gap within the campus.
The VC, who was represented by the Director, Physical Planning Unit of the university, Malam Aminu Yakubu Adamu, made the plea during an interactive session when the Bauchi State Commissioner for Works and Transport, Ibrahim Gambo Galadima, paid a special visit at the campus
Adamu explained that the Federal Ministry of Education had no mandate on road construction, forcing the university to seek the governor’s intervention.
Adamu said that the Gubi Campus was in dire need of internal roads, solar street lights and rehabilitation.
