Welcoming the students to the institution at the weekend, the Vice Chancellor said the School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology has 146 students, School of Engineering and Engineering Technology, 379 students and School of Environmental Technology admitted 424 students. Others, according to him, are School of Management Technology which admitted 252 students, School of Sciences which got 223 students and School of Technology Education which admitted 285 students.

Professor Muhammad while congratulating the new students charged them to see their admission into the school as a rare opportunity. He warned them against engaging in unlawful behaviour, saying the school authority would not take kindly to vices such as cultism, drug abuse, examination malpractices, sexual immorality and the likes, while advising them to be law-abiding in their conduct.
