Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Monday formally registered as a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in his hometown of Jada, Adamawa State.

Atiku completed his registration at Ward 1, Jada Local Government Area, where he was received by ADC supporters, youth groups, and party officials who turned out in large numbers to witness the event.

The former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) arrived to cheers from residents and party loyalists, many of whom described the development as a notable step for the ADC as it positions itself for future political activities.

State party leaders welcomed Atiku’s entry, saying it would enhance the ADC’s profile and organisational strength. They cited his long-standing political experience and national reach as assets that could energise the party across Adamawa and beyond.
