Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has condemned the invasion of the residences of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.

Policemen on Tuesday morning blocked the convoy of the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki at Lake Chad Junction, Maitama, Abuja.

Atiku in a tweet described the siege as troubling and unsettling, addding that no democratic nation ought to treat the leadership of its Parliament like common criminals.
