A former Military Administrator of Delta State, Air Commodore Luke Ochulor (rtd), has advised youths in the South-East to desist from attacking security operatives and their formations as well as other government institutions since such acts would not solve their problems but would rather compound them.

Air Commodore Ochulor, who said this in an interview with newsmen in Enugu, also called for an aggressive youth re-orientation to positively change the mindset of the young men and women in the zone which has suddenly become flashpoints of insecurity.

He said that the ‘violent path’ the youths have taken would only lead them to destruction and total regret at the end of their struggle, and urged them to quickly make a u-turn. “The road they are taking is a road that leads to nowhere. Therefore, as an elder, I think they should be called to order before it is too late for everybody,” he said.
