Attention: FCT Minister: AMAC ‘officials’ or touts on Abuja roads?

At various locations in Abuja city, all kinds of men wearing vests suggesting they work for Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) are up to all kinds of unsavoury behaviour. They stop vehicles and rudely harass drivers, demanding for all kinds of payments, all the while exhibiting extreme rudeness, sometimes threatening drivers with physical harm. A particularly unsavoury group is the one on the flyover leading to Zone 4 from Wuse Market, where they openly solicit for bribes to un-clamp cars illegally halted. The authorities need to act fast before it gets more embarrassing.
