There were many complaints recently regarding the Abuja – Kaduna train service, but there are other issues which had not been mentioned or addressed.  For the FCT minister, it is important to note that along the road, Idu train station, there are so many bushy areas where criminals can hide and commit crime most especially very early morning when intending passengers leave their homes around 5:00am in attempt to go on time, get a ticket and catch up with a 7:00am train to Kaduna. So the presence of the police is required at that point and time.

But, unfortunately, you wouldn’t see any as expected. And inside the train, most of the police personnel posted give their attention to the first class/VIP coaches only. NRC, please organise Kaduna train station; things are getting worse, most especially on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays where you can see a chaotic situation there.

And as a result of that, some passengers board the train without tickets  with the aid of both police and staff on duty. This is a dangerous situation. Besides, in all the train stations, all sorts of people are being allowed to enter the premises and inside the train as helpers, which is a call for concern, and it  amounts to negligence on the part of NRC. Please, do something; do not wait for something to happen (which we do not hope for) before you act .
