Attention, members representing Tamburawa Yamma

House of Representatives

I write to draw the attention of the members of the House of Representatives and State House of Assembly representing Dawakin Kudu constituents, Barr. Hassan Mohammed Danjuma and Hon. Rabi’u Shuaibu (Abba Makama), respectively, on complaints over your leadership failures in Tamburawa Yamma wards.

This is coming from all of the town, to the extent that the constituents are giving up on your leadership. This is quite sad, I must say.

The people of Tamburawa Yamma town keep asking, “Are there any members at all?” Because for months, the town that contributed the highest or at least second highest votes to your success in the election out of passion and confidence of change has ended up without electricity for months due to the failure of the only overworked and overloaded transformer in the town.

Honourable members, before you were voted into power, your people had high expectations in you. Or is it too early to start judging you? If yes, why are your counterparts already supporting their constituents with several programmes aimed at improving their living standards? Since your swearing-in, nothing in the form of empowerment has been brought to Tamburawa Yamma town in your name. It’s time you woke up and lived up to your responsibilities. This is because you’re running out of time.
