Attention PTAD

Please allow me to use this medium and call the attention of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) to my plight as a pensioner.

Since I was sent from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in 1988, I have been receiving my university pension.

Some years ago, I was informed that I had to prove that I was still alive and I did so by filling a form at the Nigerian High Commission in London.

Some months ago, I was informed by my wife in Nigeria that the proof of life procedure was on again, but I was never officially informed despite repeated requests to the pension authority.

This month, my pension was stopped without notice or explanation, to my very considerable inconvenience.

As I live in London and do not know who to contact, I would be grateful if you could publish this letter to help me find out how to resume receiving my pension.

 Dr Patrick Wilmot, London
