The Rector Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State Dr. Shehu Umar, Auchi, has warned students against cultism and other social vices in the institution.
Umar gave the warning over the weekend during the matriculation of 11,250 students for the 2021/2022 academic session.

He said the institution has zero tolerance for social vices such as cultism, and examination malpractice among others, and that it would expel any student found wanting.
He said joining cult groups and examining malpractice is of no benefit to them and that whoever a caught breaching the rules faces rustication or expulsion from the school.
He however urged the students to make the best use of the available facilities in the polytechnic in order for them to become well-rounded and employable after graduation.
