The Certified Institute of Auctioneers, Nigeria (CIAN), has announced that its 2025 Annual National Conference will take place on November 19 and 20, 2025, at the Rotana Event Hall, Ilorin, Kwara State.

Themed “Repositioning Nigeria’s Auction Industry,” the two-day event is expected to bring together auction professionals, policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders from across the country to discuss emerging trends and opportunities in the auction sector.

According to a statement by the National Conference Chairman, Sanni Muhammed Olaide, the conference will feature plenary sessions, panel discussions, and professional development workshops focused on promoting ethics, transparency, and innovation in auctioneering.

Other highlights include networking sessions, the annual national auctioneers competition, and an awards ceremony recognising distinguished practitioners in the industry.

The event will also feature a cultural gala night, showcasing Nigeria’s rich heritage through music, cuisine, and performances.

“This year’s conference aims to chart a new course for the auction profession in Nigeria by encouraging collaboration, digital integration, and professionalism,” the statement said.
