It came after the commission reviewed the university’s programmes in April, said Daniel Okereke, AUN executive director for communications.
AUN president, Dr Margee Ensign, said the school’s working staff was critical to its accreditation, but insisted members of the accreditation working group from the regulating commission worked to ensure accreditation was successful.
On his part, University Librarian Amed Demirhan and Chief Information Officer Julius Ayuk Tabe said every institution needs its programmes to be fully accredited, noting, “This process has been a great learning opportunity for AUN. It has pushed us to maintain high standards.”
