The American University of Nigeria (AUN) Yola has received the first set of its law students among 208 newly admitted for the 2016/17 undergraduate programmes.
President of the university, Dr. Margee Ensign, announced the commencement of law degree at the matriculation ceremony in Yola. He said the university had admitted 208 under graduates and 36 post graduate students.
She said the university sought to generate and teach knowledge with the aim of providing solution to real life problems.
“To our students, new and returning, please know that you are the reason we are all here. We are committed to ensuring that your education here is not only rigorous and demanding but also safe and fun. We are also committed to helping you to become great leaders of Africa and the world,” Ensign said.
