Aviation workers inaugurate executive members

Workers in different units of the aviation sector have inaugurated executive members of three ‎work-based unions.
The inauguration of executive members was hosted at the Arik Air headquarters, ‎Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA), Lagos.
The three unions that have their executive members inaugurated were: ‎the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers, (NAAPE), Air Traffic Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN) and National Union of Air Transport Employees, (NUATE).‎ The NAAPE Assistant General Secretary, Comrade Femi Ajagbe said the inauguration signified new beginning not just at Arik air but in the industry at large.
According to Ajagbe, the unions would ensure that the welfare of members is not taken for granted and equally promised to support the airline in its developmental plans.
