A health care insurance company, AXA Mansard Health has launched a new health plan tagged ‘Easy Care health insurance plan’ to help Nigerians access affordable health services.
AXA Mansard Health is a member of the AXA Mansard Group and regulated by the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
A statement from the organization on Monday said with the new Easy Care health insurance plan, subscribers could access various premium health care services with as low as N12,000.
The services include in and out patient care, general and specialist consultations; X-Rays, and laboratory and diagnostic tests.
The statement said other health care benefits accessible to subscribers on the plan are immunizations, prescribed medicines and drugs, accidents and emergencies, dental care, evacuation of patients to the hospital, HIV/AIDS and treatment at free specialist centres nationwide.
Chief Executive Officer, AXA Mansard Health, Mr. Tope Adeniyi said that with the plan, customers would have access to hospitals in their area of choice.
“Also, they have an additional opportunity of selecting the hospital of their choice from their dashboard on MyAXA Mobile app, where they can search for and book a hospital”, he said.
Adeniyi, said customers would also be able to beat long queues, request an out-of-pocket reimbursement and access the 24/7 Customer Contact Centre.
