Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has appointed the former state chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ntufam John Okon, as Chairman of Quarry and Environmental Regulation Board.
He also announced that a former speaker of the state House of Assembly, Frank Adah, will resume immediately as chairman, Solid Minerals Development Commission.
Ayade’s announcement was contained in a statement signed by his chief media adviser Christian Ita. The governor also appointed 119 other ‘hardworking’ members of PDP as his special advisers and personal assistants.
