Cross River State Governor Ben Ayade has disclosed that all the Primary Healthcare centres in the 196 wards in the state will be fully equipped and stocked with drugs and consumables from October this year.
He made the disclosure through the Permanent Secretary, Dr Joseph Bassey of the state ministry of health yesterday during the first ever Cross River State Health Summit held at Transcorp Hotels where health policies and plans were reeled out and interpreted.
He said that the ministry has enough men and materials to enable the implement the state strategic development plan, adding that it has become imperative to revitalise the health programmes in the state.
“Our health policy which is to guarantee good health to all indigenes and residents of this state. The theme of this summit is to ‘Translate all health policies and plans into action’,” Bassey said.
