The Vice Chancellor of Babcock University, Ilishan Ogun State, Prof. Ademola Tayo, has explained that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the institution and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) was geared at giving global recognition to accounting graduates being produced from the institution.

Prof. Tayo, who made the disclosure while highlighting successes being recorded by the university in recent years, said the signing of the MoU was an attestation of the institution’s commitment to produce graduates who can compete anywhere in the world while being guarded by best practices.

“Babcock University signed the Memorandum of Understanding with ACCA London to showcase how the institution is committed to producing qualified chartered accountant who can compete favorably anywhere in the world. The partnering of the institution with the international professional body will enable us to provide programmes packaged with professionalism which can help the students compete with their counterparts internationally,” the Vice Chancellor said.
