Badaru assures Jigawa people more goodies

The Jigawa state governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, yesterday assured the people of the state of his committment to consolidate his first term gains by heavely reinvesting in infrastructure and agricultural development.

Governor Badaru, who was recently, reelected for second term as governor of the state, made this known while chatting with newsmen in Dutse.

The governor, reminded the people of the state that when his administration first came on board in 2015, they only met an empty treasury but even at that his administration was able to a make a difference, looking at number of projects executed.

He expressed his gratitude to the people of the state for finding him worthy for a second term.

“The financial position of the state is not bad as it is now. This informed our committment for new Jigawa state. We are going to embark of numerous projects to add to existing ones.

“The projects, we executed in our first term have positively impacted in the lives of our citizens. I believed that what made them to find us worthy to lead them again. It is an appreciation of what we have done in the past.”
