Bafarawa condoles with Dickson over mother’s death

A former Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, has commiserated with Bayelsa State Governor, Chief Seriake Dickson, over the demise of his mother, Madam Gold Coast Dickson.

The 72-year-old died of breast cancer at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, Texas, United States.

Bafarawa, who sent his condolences via a statement yesterday, described Madam Dickson’s demise as a great loss not only to her family but to the entire people of Bayelsa State, and the nation in general.

Bafarawa, who is also a presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said it is devastating to lose a mother, who has suffered day and night to shower love.
