The outgoing Governor of Kebbi State Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has commissioned 500 housing units in Birnin Kebbi.
He said the housing units were built by his administration with the collaboration of a private firm, Family Homes Funds Ltd, under a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) arrangement to bridge the housing deficit in the state.
The governor said his government has provided all the needed infrastructure at the estate.
He stated that 1000 plots had been allocated to different beneficiaries and assured that the incoming administration in the state would sustain the laudable projects.
Earlier, the State Commissioner for Lands, Alhaji Mamuda Warah, said the housing project was part of the efforts of the state government to provide relief to the citizens through the provision of affordable housing.
