Bauchi State governor Bala Mohammed has purchased a nomination and expression of interest form to contest Bauchi South Senatorial seat under the platform of Allied Peoples Movement (APM).

The governor disclosed this shortly after he returned from Abuja where he attended the party’s National Executive Committee meeting on Thursday.

In another development, Senator representing Bauchi Central Senatorial District, Abdul Ahmed Ningi, has resigned his membership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Ningi made this known in a resignation letter addressed to the PDP Chairman of Ningi Ward in Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

The senator who had been a member of the PDP for over 20 years, said his decision was as a result of the lingering crisis in the party.
