People’s Redemption Party PRP

A second republic civilian governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa, was in kano yesterday to encourage the candidates and members of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) to repeat what he called the feat they recorded in 1979.

Alhaji Musa, who is the chairman Board of Trustees of the Party, reminded the people of kano, particularly the party faithful, that PRP was conceived and incubated in Kano and spread to other parts of the country by the young entrepreneurs who preached the party’s ideologies while conducting their businesses.

He said the party was formed on set of ideologies which include the value and equality of human beings, the power of the people, socialism, true federalism and total liberation from imperialism, which he said are very much needed today.

The former Governor who spoke during the flag-off of the campaign office of the PRP candidate for the Dala Federal Constituency seat, Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim Dankani, said he was confident that the people of Kano are civilized enough to do what is right and take the lead once again by winning not only two but seven states for the PRP.

In her response, Hajiya Aisha Dankani, said she couldn’t control her emotion when the former governor informed her of his plan to come and boost the morale of the people of Kano ahead of the general election.

She added that she was really encouraged that at the face of adversity, when some corrupt politicians are trying to hijack the state, people are still in love with the state.

In his remark, the gubernatoruial candidate of the party, Malam Salihu Sagir Takai, called on party faithfuls to carry on with the door to door campaign as the ball is now in their court.
