Barau FC have confirmed the resignation of their Technical Adviser, Ladan Bosso, who has stepped down from his position to attend to family matters.

The announcement comes just days before the team’s crucial Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 9 clash against Kano Pillars.

Bosso, a vastly experienced tactician and former Head Coach of Nigeria’s U-20 national team who joined the Kano-based side in July, guided the club through a challenging start to their top-flight campaign.

However, his departure marks an unexpected shake-up in the team’s technical setup at a critical stage of the season.

The veteran coach previously managed top clubs in the NPFL including Kano Pillars, Abia Warriors, Sunshine Stars, and Gombe United.

In an official statement signed by Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, Media Director of Barau FC, the club confirmed that Rabi’u Tata has been appointed as the Interim Technical Adviser.

Tata who guided the team from the Nigeria National League (NNL) to the NPFL is expected to oversee preparations for Sunday’s closed-door encounter at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofarmata, as the club owned by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Ibrahim Jibrin begins the search for a permanent replacement.

Bosso’s exit presents both a challenge and an opportunity for Barau FC, who are eager to regain stability and momentum in the NPFL.
