This was part of the promise made by the agency to the state House of Assembly when the agency was invited to explain the poor management of refuse in the state capital.
It would be recalled that last week, the House had invited BASEPA, Ministry of Environment and Bauchi Local Government Area to explain reasons behind the poor management of refuse in Bauchi town.
The House of Assembly, after a close door session with the agencies, said it was convinced by the long and short term strategies adopted by the agency and looked forward to a proactive solution to the problem.
Aminu Tukur and  Abdullahi who briefed newsman after the close door session, said some of the advices given by the assembly was to reclaim the earlier refuse-dump sites in several areas of the metropolis.
The House of Assembly stressed the need for government to properly fund the agency for the evacuation of refuse and reactivate the state Waste Management Plant as well as acquire new ones to tackle the problem.
Other advices given include greater awareness and sensitization on the effect of the refuse on the health of the people, pointing out that refuse had been the major cause of flooding and gastro enteritis in the society.
