Bauchi State Government has apologised to the civil servants whose names were omitted or had their salaries cut during the payment of May salaries in the state.
The state Head of Civil Service, Liman Bello gave the apology while receiving an award of excellence in recognition of his selfless service, good governance in the state’s civil service.
He expressed concern on the challenges encountered in the payment of May salaries saying that government is working towards the release of the affected workers salaries.
Bello said that all the policies adopted in the state civil service were meant to ensure proper management of human resources and to restore the lost glory of the service.
