Bauchi State has recorded is last patient of Coronavirus for the first time after the last five active patients of the disease have recovered and been discharged from isolation centres on Friday.
A statement from the state Ministry of Health situation room update indicates that a total number of 710 confirmed cases were recorded and 696 patients recovered and discharged from the isolation centres across the state.

The statement reveals that the state recorded a total number of 14 deaths from COVID-19.
According to the statement, “Bauchi made history, records first 0 patients in the isolation centres since the first index case.
“All the remaining five cases have recovered and discharged. This is the first time to witness 0 case in the isolation centre since the first index case.”
It will be recalled that Bauchi records it’s index case 24 March 2020 when the state Governor Bala Mohammed tested positive for COVID-19.
