Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu  has been appointed as the Chancellor of Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA).
Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu is the 11th and the present emir of Bauchi emirate in Bauchi State.
The emir holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Building Technology from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi. He worked with the Nigerian Port Authority between 2002 and 2006. Before his appointment as the emir of Bauchi in 2010, he was working at the Nigeria-Sao Tome & Principe Joint Development  Authority.   The emir is married and is blessed with two children.
