The European Union (EU), UNICEF, PLAN International and other development partners have donated hospital equipments, drugs and other medical consumables worth €7million to the Bauchi State Government.
The items are to be distributed to hospitals in wards across the state.
Speaking at the official handover of the equipments in Bauchi, UNICEF Country Representative, Mohamed Malick Fall, said the supplies would help in attaining optimal functionality of the 323 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) to provide quality healthcare.
The state governor, Mohammed Abubakar commended the organisations for the donation saying that they would be effectively utilise.
