Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed, has approved the appointment of Dr. Musa Muhammed Kirfi of the Federal University Kashere in Gombe State as his Principal Private Secretary.

A statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the governor, Comrade Muktar Gidado, revealed that the appointment is with immediate effect.

Muhammad, until his appointment as the new appointee was an Associate Professor, Public Management, Federal University Kashere, Gombe State.

The statement said Dr Muhammed Kirfi who hailed from Kirfi Local Government Area of the state, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration both from the University of Maiduguri as well as a PhD in management from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto.

The statement explained that Muhammad Kirfi who is a Researcher, public Commentator and capacity building expert, started his career at the Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi, before he moved to Usman Danfodio University Sokoto and Federal University Kashere Gombe State respectively.

Dr Mohammed Kirfi is a member of the Academy of Management of Nigeria and a fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration in addition to his journals on Intergovernmental Relations in Nigeria, Gender Mainstreaming and Human Capital Development among others.
