Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has relieved the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Galadima, of his appointment as a member of the State Executive Council.
Special Adviser to the governor on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, disclosed this in a statement shared on his social media handles on Monday.
Gidado said the decision re-emphasized the government’s resolve to periodically effect changes in order to continuously inject fresh ideas to strengthen governance and reposition the cabinet for improved service delivery.
“Governor Mohammed expresses his deep appreciation to Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Galadima for the services rendered to Bauchi State and wishes him well in his future endeavours.” the statement read.
The governor further reassured residents of his administration’s continued commitment to peace, security, and good governance.
The statement added that a replacement would be announced in due course.
