Bauchi State Governor, Bala Muhammad, has warned residents against collaborating with bandits and their sponsors.
He urged the people to instead support the government’s efforts in safeguarding the state from criminal elements.
The governor also cautioned criminals to rethink their actions, stating that Bauchi would become a difficult place for them to operate.
He gave the warning on Thursday during the flag-off ceremony for the construction of township roads in Rimin Zayam and a bypass road in Nabardo, both in Toro Local Government Area.
Governor Muhammad highlighted the significance of the new roads, emphasizing that they would not only improve infrastructure but also boost economic activities and foster social interaction in the affected communities.
The Emir of Bauchi, Dr. Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu, commended the governor for his strong stance against criminality.
He called on residents to support the government’s peace and security initiatives.
