The governor of Bauchi state, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, has lost his cousin.
A statement by the governor’s Press Secretary, Abubakar El-Sadique, on Tuesday disclosed that, Alhaji Abubakar Hassan Abubakar, also known as Yaya Bala, a cousin to Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar of Bauchi State died on Tuesday in Jos.
“The deceased who was eighty-five years old died in Jos in the early hours of today after a brief illness. He left behind 14 children and 60 grandchildren.”
He was buried in Jos, Plateau state according to Islamic rites.
