The Bauchi State Universal Education Board (BSUBEB) in partnership with Universal Learning Solution, have trained 1,000 primary school teachers across the state.
The training was facilitated through funding provided by Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) through her 2015 Teachers Professional Development Programme (TPD).
The Project Coordinator, Usman Tilde said eight teachers and four officials were presented with awards for their excellent performance during the training.
Chief Executive Officer, Universal Learning Solutions, Mr Gary Foxcroft said, “UBEC have really recognised the tremendous impact that Jolly Phonics has been having on literacy levels in Nigeria’s government schools and have taken it on as one of their flagship programmes.”
