During the State House of Assembly primaries in the Opokuma/Kolokuma Constituency 1 of Bayelsa State, an incumbent member called Hon. Ebiundu Komonibo, who represents the constituency in the State House of Assembly, was barred from gaining access to the venue of the primaries by thugs loyal to the state Governor. The reason for their action was not more than the member’s inability to be a signatory to the impeachment process of the ousted deputy governor.  And the member has a good reason.  He was out of Bayelsa State as at the time of the impeachment.  But the governor decided to use it as a vendetta.  What type of democracy are we practicing?
