He said the assistance would help boost the efficiency of the hospital as well as create an enabling environment for providing good health care delivery.The Emir further charged the hospital staff to ensure good handling of the hospital equipment, saying this would help facilitate their work.

Earlier in his speech the chief medical director of the hospital, Dr Kabir Abubakar said the hospital would be 50 years this year.He said the long period that the hospital had lived called for the renovation of its facilities, as well as enlarge some area to accommodate the teeming populace that are trooping.

He called on the general public to emulate the gesture by assisting the hospital in various ways.
