A rising Nigerian musician, Uwagboe Gabriel, has admonished newlywed couples to be a reflection of Christ’s love as they begin their marital journey together.

The entertainer, who is also a rap artiste, gave the advice at a recent event in Ikeja, in celebration of the wedding of his friend, Titilayo Ogundipe.

Uwagboe stated that he has been friends with the groom for a long time, and had to join in the celebration.

According to him, “marriage is an honorable institution, the people who are going into it should be well prepared.

“You have to demonstrate love because a lot of persons will now look up to the couple as role models.

“Couples should live peacefully to have a happy home. He advised the bride to be submissive to her husband, to enjoy a robust relationship with man and God.”

Uwagboe said he ventured into singing as that is a way he believes he could positively influence the world, especially the youthful generation.

He advised the youths to invest on their aspirations, be creative and contribute their quota to the development of their fatherland.
