National chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has appealed to Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, despite the hardship being experienced in the country.

Ganduje in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration assured Nigerians of a robust and stable economy in 2025.

Many Nigerians are groaning over the spate of insecurity, poverty, hunger and the general increase in the cost of goods and services, partly occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy by the government.

But Ganduje, former Kano State governor, said President Tinubu was working assiduously to deliver dividends of democracy to the people, stressing that his reform have started yielding positive results.

Ganduje said Tinubu was committed to having a better deal with Nigerians in the coming year and asked citizens to keep hope alive.

Ganduje said, “Nigerians should be patient with the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the bold economic reforms he has embarked upon, which have brought discomfort to many.

“Already results of the reforms are beginning to be seen. By next year’s Christmas, the economy would have stabilised and better.

“The government’s effort in securing the country is yielding results as cases of banditry and kidnapping have significantly reduced.”

Ganduje said as the nation navigates its developmental challenges, the APC leadership remains committed to promoting policies and programmes that would bring about sustainable growth, security and improved welfare for all citizens.

The APC helmsman urged all Nigerians to use this festive period to pray for the continued peace, stability, and prosperity of the country.

He equally asked Christians and all Nigerians to pray for the success of political leaders at all levels of government.
