Speaking on the development, Deji Awokoya, GM of Megalectrics (operators of the Beat99.9fm, Classicfm 97.3 and Naija fm 102.7), said  “this is a massive achievement and its right in line with our philosophy of being a trendsetter in the industry, for us to be verified by Twitter. It’s certainly a significant milestone and recognition of the value we bring to our community. Social media is increasingly becoming the way to have a two way interaction with listeners and this stamp of approval shows that we are indeed listening to them and they’re with us on the ride.”
The 24-hour entertainment radio which showcases an array of young, talented on air personalities, boasts of over 160,000 followers with about 130,000 tweets so far with a total engagement of 7,000 per month.
