Carloha Nigeria has officially launched the 2025 Chery Tiggo 9, a luxury family-oriented SUV alongside its customer-focused Carloha Care 6-6-7 initiative, a unique after-sales service package.

Launched recently at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos, Carloha said that its goal is to ease access to modern mobility while setting a new standard of after-sales excellence through Carloha Care 6-6-7.

Managing Director of Carloha Nigeria, Mr. Sola Adigun, stated that the Carloha Care 6-6-7 initiative is the boldest customer-focused service promise in Nigeria’s auto industry.

He explained that the programme, which offers 6 years warranty, 6 years free scheduled maintenance, and a 7-day repair promise with a courtesy car guarantee, positions Carloha as the best aftersales car brand in the country, ensuring peace of mind, reliability, and long-term value for its customers.

Adigun explained that Chinese innovation is redefining the automotive industry worldwide, stating that,  “Chery, China’s largest vehicle exporter, has consistently led this revolution, with its recent milestone of five million vehicle exports underscoring global confidence and acceptance of the brand.”

Giving an overview of the new vehicle, Yusuf Muhammed, the Product Manager described the Chery Tiggo 9 as a perfect balance of luxury and power.

He said, “From the outside, the Chery Tiggo 9 speaks a language of confidence, elegance, and timeless beautiful design. When you step into a Chery Tiggo 9, You are not just walking to the car, you are walking into a sanctuary.

He revealed that the SUV is powered by a 2.0 turbocharged GTI engine delivering 187 KW of power and 390 Nm of torque, with a thermal efficiency placing it among the top 5% of engines globally.

“You have power, you have elegance but none of this is enough without safety. I tell you, safety is our watchword and that is why the Chery Tiggo 9 is built like a fortress. What do I mean by this? 85 per cent of the structure of the Chery Tiggo 9 is built with alloy drained steel. This is the same material used in the military to manufacture their automobiles,” he added.

He emphasized the vehicle’s advanced safety features and fuel efficiency, describing it as a car built to not only perform but protect.

Also Speaking during the event, Mr. Taiwo Akinpelu, the General Manager, Marketing, described the Tiggo 9 as a landmark addition to Nigeria’s SUV market.

He explained that the Chery Tiggo 9 “is a family-oriented SUV that combines cutting-edge technology, premium comfort, and unrivalled safety standards, making it the most reliable choice in its category today.”

According to Akinpelu, Carloha’s vision is about transforming customer experiences in an industry often dominated by poor service and lack of spare parts.

“Have you ever owned a car that you love so much and when a small part fails, you were told that it will take up to 3-6 months for the parts of this vehicle to arrive, some of this will even force you to abandon that vehicle, even for a very long time?
