To mark this milestone, he is back with an official single off his sophomore album ‘The industry.’
The song, ‘Body’ features the rulers of the new school – B.O.J and L.A.X. and was produced by Biano Summers. It follows his release of earlier singles: ‘Glasses up,’ the official anniversary theme song featuring Tuface, Sound Sultan, Burna Boy and Yung Greyce, and ‘Faridah’ ft Skales, Morell and Kamar.
“We are very excited about this milestone – as a person for me, and as an industry,” said DJ JimmyJatt. “25 years is clearly no joke, and in a constantly evolving industry, it has been a rollercoaster ride seeing our passion and vision from two decades ago, explode into a movement that is powering the entertainment industry.”
As he counts down to this weekend’s celebration of 25 years in the industry, renowned DJ and music producer, DJ JimmyJatt is the cover star on the new issue of Red Sheet magazine.
Red Sheet, which is a lifestyle magazine, has had notable celebrities on its cover, in this issue, JimmyJatt looks dapper with his fashion style, a three-piece blue suit, a white shirt, a striped tie, a brown hat and his signature dark shades expressing a captivating smile.
He opens up on family, his career, how his passion for music as a child led him to a highly accomplished 25 years career in the African music industry, and why he’s still one of the planet’s best DJs.

An icon in the Nigerian entertainment industry who has come a long way, his first single ‘Stylee,’ which featured TuFace Idibia, Modenine and Elajoe, was successful, enjoying heavy airplay and the music video staying on the MTV Africa countdown for weeks while earning him several awards like Channel O Africa Music Video Award, Hip hop World Award, SoundCity Music Video Award, Nigerian Music Video Award and Nigerian Music Award nominations to mention a few.
