Minsk Tractor Works which is the biggest tractors’ manufacturer in the former USSR, according to the trade mission Director, Mr. Andrei Trosko, is well known all over the world and the technical quality and reliability of the equipment is recognised by all leading experts in this field.
Speaking to Daily Trust, the trade mission director said registering the new branch as Belarus tractors Nigeria, was intended to attract customers in Nigerian.
Trosko said: “We are present on Nigerian market since several years. Together with our trade partners, the company “Aulic” we have organised a permanent exhibition of the main models of tractors in Lagos. Now everyone, who has interest for our products can visit our site and explore the equipment.”
He announced that the company has delivered more than 100 tractors this year to one of their official dealers, named “EFORCE Agro-Deleopment Limited, hoping that the company will soon invite all potential clients to the presentation of tractors in field operation in Anambra State.
“Next year we are planning to increase significantly volumes of sales according to market demand. Moreover, we intend to start assembling of tractors in Nigeria. This is a very important project, Nigeria will begin its’ own production of tractors, increase working places and reduce the price of tractor through localization of production.”
